The Great and Small Photography Competition is a monthly contest held regularly this past June by the Association of Nature and Animal Photographers. International Wilderness (SINWP) organization. In the photo is the work of female photographer Judith Matthews, capturing a cute mouse standing on a corn stalk.

The photo by Brit author Ian Cook capturing the "dinner" moment of a swallow was also highly appreciated by the judges.

In second place is the impressive image of a rhinoceros standing in the middle of the smoke by photographer Sheri Emerson from Canada.

In third place is another British photographer, Stuart Walker, 43, with a photo of a bee sucking nectar from a lavender flower. Stuart shared that he had to sit "watch" in the lavender bush for more than 30 minutes to be able to capture this moment.

Photographer Nancy Sadowski from New Jersey to Florida was lucky enough to capture the moment a group of dolphins appeared swimming with her husband.

Finally, the work of former ballet teacher Hilary Dean-Hughes from Hampshire, captured a picture of a small fox leaping through the snow in Yellowstone National Park.
