Unbelievably beautiful tree statue
If you have the opportunity to visit Atlanta from May to October 2014, you must have the opportunity to admire the masterpieces of tree sculptures in America's largest tree sculpture exhibition held at the Atlanta Botanical Garden.
The fantasy world - the new kingdom of tree giants - is a landscape art show featuring 28 tree figurines scattered throughout the garden.
These statues, created by Mosaiculture Moltreal International in Canada, feature four playful frogs and three naughty orangutans.
There is also a statue of a grazing unicorn, a friendly goblin, a giant cobra and beautiful butterflies.
The largest sculpture is the 25-foot tall statue of the Earth God that has become a permanent part of the garden's collection. This statue alone has been made up of 18,000 annual trees. "Each sculpture is a life, a complex evolution of the traditional stuffing topiary techniques".
"Thousands of meticulously prepared annual plants are planted in the ground - then mounted on wire meshes, covered with steel skeletons to keep the building sustainable. Complex irrigation systems lie beneath the surface. The face of the sculpture allows the plants to grow and bloom in the Atlanta summer heat."
Last summer, in the same garden, the international organization Mosaiculture International Montreal made its first exhibition. This year's exhibition has nearly 200,000 trees
